The first weekend after you land, we pack a van with the rest of the new roommates and drive to a paradise spot on the Mexican Caribbean. No classes, no pressure, no phones — just people meeting each other.
There's a reason we built the semester around this trip: the friendships formed in those 72 hours are the ones that hold the whole experience together. The roommates you barely knew in the airport become the people you'll text from cenotes, from concerts, from the airport when you're flying home.
We choose the destination based on the season — Holbox in fall, Bacalar in spring — but the formula doesn't change: paradise, food, the right number of beers, and zero schedule.
